This has really been a great addition to my tools. Over the years I have done a lot of steel work, building boats, etc. and grinding is a big part of that, including grinding a lot in tight places. This often results in my grinder hand getting sprayed with hot debris from the grinder. I can wear a glove but the interlocking switches on the new grinders, like Bosch and so forth, make it hard to trigger the grinder through gloves and I can’t contol the grinder as finely through a glove. The PowerSafe hand guard takes care of the problem. I can have the feel of the grinder and easily activate the switch while not getting my hand sprayed with hot debris and while still getting into those tight spots.
