Powersafe is automatic protection, on the saw ready to go. Not only am I confident that my hands are shielded from the blade; my hands are also protected from cuts, scrapes and other injuries that occur when I use my saw in tight spaces or around rough surfaces. If I choose to work without gloves Powersafe has me covered- it was a great peace of mind purchase.
